ISO 22000 FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OVERVIEW:

ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System training enables you to develop the necessary expertise to support an organization in establishing, implementing, managing and maintaining a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on ISO 22000.
During this training course, you will also gain a thorough understanding of the best practices of Food Safety Management Systems and be able to apply them in an organization’s food supply chain in order to effectively control food hazards and ensure quality and safety.

  1. Receive a SCILS Management Centre issued a certificate of Proficiency in Food Safety Management System based on (ISO 22000 Aligned)
  2. Be eligible to sit for and pass at first attempt the Food Safety Management System based on ISO 22000
  3. A participation certificate of 31 Continuing Professional Development(CPD) credit will be issued by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board(PECB)

The “PECB Certified ISO 22000 Lead Implementer” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:

  • Domain 1 Fundamental principles and concepts of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
  • Domain 2 Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
  • Domain 3 Planning an FSMS implementation based on ISO 22000
  • Domain 4 Implementing an FSMS based on ISO 22000
  • Domain 5 Performance evaluation, monitoring and measurement of an FSMS based on ISO 22000
  • Domain 6 Continual improvement of an FSMS based on ISO 22000
  • Domain 7 Preparing for an FSMS certification audit

PREREQUISITE:

To be eligible for the Food Safety Management Certification Exam;

  1. Two years of work experience in Food Safety Management System
  2. Should have supervised nothing less than 300hours of project activities
  3. Signing the PECB code of ethics
